All about New York Mets
New York Mets is one of the two major baseball teams in the
eastern division of the National League. Its based
in flushing, queens in New York city. It was the
major competitive team for New York Yankees of American league.
New York Mets formed in 1957. Attorney William Shea announced the formation of the
national baseball team with the name Metropolitan Baseball Club of New Yorksimply Mets.
The success of the Mets was started with its failure in the
starting years 1961 and 1962. The first achievement of the Mets
was in the year 1964. In the first season, they won the match
which took its place in the history of the first National league. Since 1880,
and the most memorable winning in the history of the Mets was counted that day.
The main Mets began with a mediacre start in 1969, going 21-23 through the end of may.
At that time Mets standed at the third place, ten teams behind. In the year 1969, New York Mets
won the series against Baltimore Orioles in world series with 4 winnings in 5 games.
Thus they became world champions. And their success continues...

| New York Mets is my favourite team in baseball, And i never missed their matches, i like their team spirit, the team has become more energitic and strong in the recent past. It is attaracting people with good game. I like their dedication towards the game, they always try to do very less number of mistakes,They won't get discouraged even when they are injured. |

| I am crazy about New York Mets team, they are just amazing , the team has been doing great job for the past few years. The team has been attracting people with their matches. Once i went to watch a match, the crowd didn't stop shouting, they were taking the names of the players of New York Mets and encouraging them with their posters. The match was very intresting till the last second. |

| My father is former baseball player. I went to see a baseball match of New York Mets. We enjoyed that match very much. And my father told me that the game was taking its place in the baseball history. ie the players really played well. | 1986, I observed the real teamwork and their willingness in the game. The year when Mets got their World series against Boston Red Sox. It was an amazing moment for team and for the fans of Mets. When i saw that match in the ground. That was really a wonderful experience.
