Detroit Tigers, a major baseball team based in Detroit, Michigan in the American central founded in the year 1893 in minor Western League and later in 1900, it was renamed as American League. It was one among the five baseball teams of America and Standrad for its name.

Detroit Tigers team's entry in the National League was in the years 1881-1888 as the minor team. In the year 1889, the major team formed and joined in International League. By 1896, they had the new building at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull Avenues.

The first match of the Detroit Tigers played as the major team in the year 1901 and dated on April 25 against Milwaukee Brewers. They won that match. They won the first American League pennat in 1907. In the year 1968, they won American League. In 1984, they achieved record against Chicago Cubs. i think rodney sucks and should of been pulled in the opening game of the year.The tigers could of had a better chance of winning it if Todd Jones was still pitching.

Summary
We are the local team of Detroit. Few days back We went to watch one of the Detroit Tigers match in American League, in which we learnt many tips from them, like how to co-operate with team members, how to maintain the winning tempo till the end. the perfomance of the team in that match gave us lot of encouragement and support to buildup ourselves as good players.
