All about Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are a professional American football team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They are currently members of the Southern Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Falcons joined the NFL as a 1966 expansion team.
Atlanta Falcons team was born on June 30, 1965, The NFL Commissioner granted ownership to the executive vice president of Life Insurance Company of Georgia. The name Falcons was inspired by a school teacher from Georgia who won a contest in 1965, who wrote - The falcon is proud and dignified, with courage and fight. They had a great sporting spirit.
Rankin M. Smith Sr. would draft Tommy Nobis, LB, University of Texas with the first pick of the 1966 NFL Draft held in 1965, making him the first ever Falcon.
The Atlanta Falcons team was awarded their first NFL season in 1966, and had their first game in 1966 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons would lose against the Eagles and would lose their first few games in the regular season before finally getting their first franchise win on the road against the New York Giants. Their first ever home victory was against the St. Louis Cardinals, yet Nobis wins the NFL Rookie of the Year Award and becomes the first Falcon named to the Pro Bowl.
During the 2005 season the Falcons would start they lost some of the games. The Falcons failed to attain back-to-back winning seasons, inspite of having a winning history in some of the games in the year of 2004.
Logo and Uniform :
Falcons wore red helmets with a black falcon crest logo. They wore white pants and either black or white jerseys. At first, the falcon crest logo was also put on the jersey sleeves, but it was replaced by a red and white stripe pattern one year later. In 2004, the red jerseys became the primary jerseys, and the black ones became the alternate.

| Summary |
I went to see one of the match played by Atlanta Falcons in the year 2004. I enjoyed so much taht i still remember each and every goal made by the team. We went to the stadium 1hour before and was taken aback to see so many fans who were waiting to see their favourite players playing. We joined them and had lots of fun. Falcons played the match in a very nice manner with high co-operation and finally won it. |

Matches played by Atlanta Falcons during the 2004 was one of the best series to enjoy for any of the football lover like me. They had many victories during that period. though some defeats were seen by them in the following year they still rock and is one of my favourite team. |

I am happy to say that i am one among the huge fan fare of the Atlanta Falcons. Titles won by them itself proves their caliber. They have an amazing team spirit that is the root cause for their victories. One of the match which i had seen live which is played by them. Their performance made me go crazy about football and this particular team. |
